This succulent climber can live in the full sun or partial shade. It is a epiphyte which is a plant which grows on another plant, not as a parasite, but just for the support. A epiphyte can derive all of its nutrients from the sun and air without having to take anything from the supporting plant. The actual plant has a white bloom that you see from late Spring until early Fall. This plant is drought tolerant being from the cactus family, and as an added bonus it is nicely fragrant. The fruit is the main attraction here though. This fruit is popular the world over.
