Baikal skullcap is said to have a variety of uses. Research has shown that it is helpful in treating allergies and respiratory conditions, such as food allergies, allergic edema, asthma, nettle rash, eczema, hay fever, and otitis media. Traditionally it has been used to treat fevers, diarrhea, urinary conditions, coughing, and wheezing.
