These “psyche mix” cosmos are a beautiful collection of large, frilly blooms in shades of pinks, violets, burgundy, and white. Unlike most cosmos, these have double blooms, held high atop lacey green foliage. This is a taller variety of cosmos, reaching heights of four feet or more, perfect for the backs of flower beds, along with a house or fence, or as a mass planting. This annual blooms all summer long until frost! All cosmos attract butterflies and hummingbirds, but deer won’t eat them. All cosmos are very easy to grow from seed, they tolerate drought extremely well, and thrive in a variety of soil conditions, even poor or rocky soil. Cosmos thrive on neglect!
Plant cosmos seeds in sun to partial shade. Pick the dead blooms off, and they will produce even more flowers. In warmer climates, these psyche cosmos will re-seed themselves and you'll get another crop the next year!
