You are buying 1 Star Magnolia 6-12" in a 3" pot. The Star Magnolia is a shrub-like tree that produces white star-shaped fragrant flowers in early spring Feb.-March. It thrives in nearly every location in the U.S. and works well as a single specimen or foundation planting. This shrub is considered both a flowering shrub and an ornamental shrub. It is typically planted for both its visual interest and spring flowers.
Can be trained to grow as either a shrub or small tree. Grows in an oval pyramidal shape. This shrub grows at a medium to fast rate with height increases of anywhere to 13 to more than 24" per year. The Star Magnolia grows in acidic loamy well drained soils. It needs full sun to partial shade meaning it prefers a minimum of 4 hours of direct sun light each day. Hardy in zones 4-9.
California orders ship bare root due to restrictions on soil.
