TALL RED PLAINS COREOPSIS. American Native wildflower. Hard to find growing wild. These used to be found in low-lying prairies, meadows, and woodlands throughout the U.S and Canada. Impervious to floods and drought. Tolerates just about any soil type. Very easy to grow from seed. These are fast growing and will get about 30" tall. Fern-like leaves. Each plant produces dozens of flowers. The red flowers are 2" across and start blooming in mid-summer and continue through fall. Good nectar source for butterflies and bees. Also make great cut flowers. 500+seeds per order.
