FALSE ASTER.This is an long lived American native wildflower. The plant height is variable from 3-5' and they get 2'-3' wide. They can be found along roadsides, edges of woods, marshes, lake shores and riversides. This is a tough as nails plant that will grow in gravel / sand / marsh / poor or regular garden soils without any problem, but prefer moist alkaline conditions.
